Hermès Cybersecurity Python Developer Intern

- Develop and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure and tools within the Hermès Cyber Defense team.
- Understand existing systems, supervision, and development practices.
- Implement new functionalities and gather requirements.
- Design and implement solutions, integrating them with current systems.
- Deploy, supervise, and debug software applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts for guidance on tasks.
- Engage in DevOps and infrastructure management tasks as required.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in engineering (Bac+3/4).
- Seeking a 24-month internship starting September 2025.
- Familiarity with Python programming language.
- Proficient in creating functions, reading file contents, and making API requests in Python.
- Experience in creating classes, modularizing projects, and writing tests.
- Knowledge of development best practices, pair programming, code reviews, and issue tracking.
- Autonomous in researching and learning new concepts, referring to documentation for solutions.
- Ability to ask for external help when needed.
- Proficient in essential Git functions.
- Capable of setting up and managing a development environment.
- Awareness of cybersecurity issues and regular engagement in technological watch.
- Possess critical thinking, curiosity, organization, and rigor.
- Proactive in proposing ideas and capable of managing projects from start to finish.
No prior professional experience required, but familiarity with Python and development practices is essential.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
