- Greet customers, answer phones, and direct inquiries to the appropriate party.
- Address routine billing questions and issues from customers.
- Assist in store opening and closing, including cash handling and deposits.
- Complete, process, and maintain applicable paperwork and records.
- Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner.
- Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill.
- Sort and count currency and coins.
- Issue receipts and change to customers.
- Count money at the end and beginning of each shift.
- Process credit card and check payments.
- Perform customer service representative duties when required.
- Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.
- Open and close tills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of transactions efficiently, preferably in retail luxury.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of at least 10 staff members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly observant.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proven good customer experience background.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
