Hermès Asset Protection Specialist

- Ensure the security of stock and company assets, including merchandise, money, technical equipment, and store premises.
- Educate associates on Asset Protection (AP) awareness and compliance.
- Report violations and incidents promptly.
- Conduct audits and maintain accurate records.
- Investigate incidents and follow up as necessary.
- Manage outsourced security personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding asset protection.
- Perform routine inspections to maintain physical security and asset protection.
- Complete required audits and inspections, documenting results accurately.
- Conduct safety inspections and communicate hazards to management.
- Control access to facilities for associates and visitors, enforcing all policies and procedures.
- 1-3 years of experience in loss prevention or retail.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of 8-hour Pre-Assignment and 16-hour On-the-Job certificates/Security License (mandatory in NYC).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise.
- Proficiency in operating necessary equipment.
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments.

1-3 years of experience in loss prevention or retail settings.
High School diploma or equivalent.
The salary range for this position is $25.67 - $28.37 per hour, determined based on job location and individual experience.
