Hermès Accounts Payable Accountant

- Execute accounts payable transactions with precision, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Monitor and manage fixed assets, prepaid, and accrual accounts.
- Process VAT filings and liaise with auditors to complete audits.
- Review and post travel and expense claims in SAP, ensuring local compliance.
- Manage vendor registration and related administrative tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices and purchase orders in line with local tax and Group accounting policies.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
- Assist in profit and loss review and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Generate accounts payable aging, vendor referential, and related reports in Cognos monthly.
- Prepare payments and manage overall accounts payable.
- Oversee intercompany re-invoicing and reconciliation of non-merchandise transactions.
- Communicate with relevant departments and subsidiaries on intercompany matters.
- Manage fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposals.
- Support internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Assist with corporate tax returns and VAT filings, including reconciliation.
- Prepare withholding tax and assist in stock takes.
- Address ad hoc matters as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a multinational company.
- Proficiency in SAP and MEO, with experience in TM1 and Cognos as an advantage.
- Meticulous attention to detail with figures.
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in English.
