Hermès Accounts Payable Accountant

- Manage and review Travel & Expense claims, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and post to SAP.
- Oversee vendor registration and related administrative tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices and purchase orders in line with local tax and Group accounting policies.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
- Assist in Profit & Loss review and Balance Sheet reconciliation.
- Run Accounts Payable aging reports and manage vendor referential data.
- Prepare payments and manage general account payables.
- Generate related reports such as T&E and customs duties reconciliation.
- Drive continuous improvement in the Accounts Payable process.
- Manage reconciliation of non-merchandise intercompany transactions and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate with relevant departments or subsidiaries on intercompany matters.
- Oversee fixed asset management, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposals.
- Support internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Assist with corporate tax returns and VAT filing, including reconciliation.
- Prepare withholding tax and assist in stock takes.
- Handle other ad hoc financial matters.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a multinational company.
- Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of finance systems and processes.
- Experience with SAP & MEO is highly preferred; Cognos experience is a plus.
- Precision and detail-oriented with figures.
- Good understanding of accounting and tax regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluent in English.
A minimum of 3 years in an accounting role within a multinational corporation.
