Galeries Lafayette Supply Chain Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group is the leading French distributor of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. The division serves as the purchasing center for jewelry and watch sectors for the 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. It operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores and has 70 Louis Pion retail locations across France, offering a wide range of watches and jewelry. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and e-commerce site. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports.
- Monitor and animate the performance tracking of carriers from collection to delivery for internal and external clients.
- Research and follow up on undelivered packages and resolve delivery issues.
- Manage disputes with carriers and track corresponding reimbursements.
- Act as a point of contact with the e-commerce customer service and operational teams.
- Assist in the creation and analysis of reports and dashboards.
- Update the information system (ERP Cegid) following transport events such as loss, theft, or delay.
- Monitor e-commerce returns and refunds in the warehouse.
- Ensure proper processing of e-orders by store or warehouse preparers.
- Assist in monitoring intra-group merchandise flows and alert on indicators.
- Develop and animate the RSE aspect (destocking, recycling).
- Support the after-sales service team in managing administrative tasks related to workshop quotes.
- Currently a student in a business school or university, pursuing a Bac +4/5 level degree with a specialization in Supply Chain/Internal Control.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Interest in learning technical business software related to transport management, e-commerce, after-sales service, or stock management.
- Good relational skills and writing abilities.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel or others).
- Dynamic and proactive personality.
No specific experience required, but an interest in supply chain and logistics is beneficial.
Currently a student in a business school or university, pursuing a Bac +4/5 level degree with a specialization in Supply Chain/Internal Control.
