- Receive and accurately count stock items, recording data using computer systems.
- Manage all shipments, transfers, and consignments efficiently.
- Pack and unpack items for shelving in stockrooms, adhering to company policies.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts, investigating discrepancies, and adjusting errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock counts.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and manage shrink rates within company standards.
- Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner in designated areas.
- Label stock items using identification tags, numbers, or other labeling equipment.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct monthly deep cleaning of the warehouse.
- Inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Assist and direct other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
- Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors.
- Coordinate with couriers for stock pick-ups or deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
- Order and maintain all necessary supplies, assessing supply needs from contracts and purchase orders.
- Ensure optimal after-sales service, accuracy, and integrity.
- Manage defective and damaged items in coordination with production.
- Process repairs and liaise with local suppliers for efficient service.
- Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
- Contribute to visual merchandising stock management and communicate about arrivals and unused props or mannequins.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in mathematics and basic accounting.
- Strong computer skills.
