Fashion Group Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Automation

- Partner with business leaders to identify use cases for BI, AI, and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmaps.
- Document solution scope in Business Cases, Project Briefs, and Functional Specs.
- Introduce AI and workflow automation technologies to support and empower local business teams.
- Collaborate with LVMH’s AMER Data & AI team to pilot and scale Group-level blueprints locally.
- Conduct market scans, evaluate new tools and vendors, and lead proofs of concept.
- Act as a functional Product Owner for the Data & Automation roadmap.
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of requests, enhancements, and incident resolutions with internal and external development teams.
- Leverage product and project lifecycles to lead the delivery of BI & automation initiatives from intake to hyper-care.
- Serve as the technical owner of the LVMH Fashion Group NA Data Platform, ensuring scalability, low-latency, high availability, and continuous updates.
- Enforce high standards in data quality, availability, and latency across critical datasets.
- Manage SLA performance and KPIs with support vendors; lead quarterly reviews and continuous improvements.
- Optimize licenses and total cost of ownership of data and automation tools (FinOps).
- Act as a point of contact between local business teams, IT, vendors, and Maisons headquarters.
- Facilitate data strategy alignment between central and local teams.
- Communicate project updates and performance metrics to executives and business leads.
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data architecture, preferably in a multi-brand or retail environment.
- Strong background working with cloud data platforms (preferably GCP), modern ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran, Dataform), and expert-level proficiency in Power BI for enterprise reporting.
- Proficient in data modeling and scripting using SQL and Python.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing vendors or offshore delivery teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts, business impacts, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering automation initiatives, including workflow automation, AI/ML pilot projects, or process digitization.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical delivery with business priorities and long-term goals.
- Power BI Mastery: Deep expertise in Power BI Development, PowerBI Administration, including data modeling, report design, performance optimization, and self-service enablement.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data warehousing, data pipelines, automation tools, and AI technologies.
- Leadership: Experience managing small teams or project-based contributors; capable of influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Project & Product Management: Skilled in managing the full project lifecycle, prioritizing backlogs, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to translate business problems into data solutions and present complex ideas clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Cost Management: Experience managing software licenses, vendor contracts, and optimizing platform cost.
Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data architecture.
The base compensation ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience, with a comprehensive benefits package.
