Fashion Group Junior Management Controller

- Prepare and publish IFRS management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet, on a monthly basis.
- Review monthly packages for each brand and coordinate with accountants to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare stock, purchases, and margin reconciliations and manage monthly accruals.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial forecasts and report variances.
- Analyze variances between budget and actuals and develop standardized reports.
- Provide financial analyses for capital investments, sales, stock, margin, communication, and selling expenses.
- Focus on gross margin evolution and profitability by store, analyzing variances with stock controllers and store managers.
- Conduct P&L reviews and ad hoc analyses with Brand Retail Managers.
- Review invoices and participate in the payment process, ensuring correct delegation of tasks.
- Collaborate with the Internal Control department to develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
- Liaise regularly with store managers to assist with finance or operational issues.
- Participate in annual stock takes and assist with process improvement projects.
- Degree with a major in Finance, Master in Finance 1 or 2, DESCF, CIMA, or newly qualified ACCA candidate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with the fashion industry and retail business is advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Experience with corporate ERP systems (JDE) and reporting systems (Syrus) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French and/or Spanish is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of detail orientation.
- Excellent communication skills, autonomy, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with familiarity in the fashion industry and retail business as a plus.
Degree with a major in Finance, Master in Finance 1 or 2, DESCF, CIMA, or newly qualified ACCA candidate.
