- Advise on all people-related regulations and compliance matters, including Fair Work changes.
- Collaborate with the Regional HR Operations team on HRIS and payroll vendor management.
- Educate stakeholders on regulatory compliance in daily operations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with local labor laws.
- Manage regular reporting in coordination with the regional HR team.
- Engage with external consultants such as lawyers and auditors.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams on manpower planning and organizational design.
- Advise on manpower risks and opportunities, considering costs and productivity.
- Build organizational capabilities through talent development.
- Develop HR budgets and forecasts, analyzing expenditures' impact on business.
- Formulate HR procedures with best practices for organizational growth.
- Lead communication and implementation of key talent initiatives.
- Maintain a talent pool to support business growth.
- Anticipate talent movement and advise on market trends.
- Identify training and development needs to support talent growth.
- Develop employee engagement initiatives to foster an inclusive culture.
- Collaborate on compensation and benefits trends with the regional HR team.
- Develop local HR teams into well-rounded practitioners.
- Drive transversal projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in any business discipline.
- 15+ years of experience as an HR generalist with exposure to business partnering and talent management.
- Familiarity with compliance and HR practices in Australia/Oceania.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix and diverse environment.
- Resilience and teamwork.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with proficiency in numerical analysis.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, ideally within the retail industry and a matrix organization.
Bachelor’s degree in any business discipline.
