- Lead and support the machining team by ensuring integration, versatility, and continuous technical training of team members while maintaining a positive and motivating work environment.
- Plan and organize work by coordinating teams in alignment with scheduling and delivery deadlines, in collaboration with the scheduling department.
- Collaborate closely with programmers and industrialization project managers during the development of new products.
- Monitor and regularly report performance indicators (safety, quality, deadlines, cost, personnel) to the Workshop Manager.
- Manage trial days and the integration of new colleagues and interns, including evaluation, training, and support.
- Identify, communicate, and participate in resolving quality issues in collaboration with the quality department.
- Work closely with the Workshop Manager to report quality information, potential conflicts, and update the versatility matrix.
- Propose performance improvements in areas such as range, ergonomics, flow, methods, tools, and quality, and participate in various improvement projects (5S/Continuous Improvement).
- Holder of a CFC in Polymechanics/Production Mechanics or an equivalent qualification.
- Essential experience in an industrial environment with knowledge of mechanized polishing, milling, and turning.
- Minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in production organization, cross-functional team management, and quality assurance.
- Additional training in management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Engaged, rigorous, with strong analytical skills and natural leadership.
