1. Ensure the proper fit of garments through precise tailoring and alterations.
2. Address customer inquiries regarding alterations, fit, repair, cleaning, or care of garments.
3. Mark garments accurately for tailoring and execute necessary alterations within the provided schedule.
4. Press and repair garments as required, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
5. Maintain an orderly and well-stocked tailor shop, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and operational.
6. Provide excellent customer service, both in person and via telephone, adhering to proper etiquette.
7. Communicate customer requests and feedback to management effectively.
8. Contribute to problem-solving and suggest improvements for service and productivity in the tailor shop.
9. Organize and store altered and unaltered merchandise neatly.
10. Participate in store meetings and training sessions as needed.
11. Adhere to designated work schedules and comply with all company policies and procedures.

1. Previous experience as a tailor, seamstress, or fitter.
2. Proficiency in operating sewing machines, pressing, and ironing equipment.
3. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy garments.
4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
5. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
6. Commitment to adhering to company policies and standards.

1. High-quality workmanship in alterations, repairs, and pressing.
2. Accurate marking and pinning of garments for alteration.
3. Understanding of fit issues and ability to recommend appropriate alterations.
4. Knowledge of garment care instructions and ability to advise customers.
5. Outstanding customer service skills.
6. Clear and concise communication abilities.
7. Time management and ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in tailoring or a related field.
