- Conduct performance analyses at global, regional, product line, and collection levels.
- Identify corrective actions and implement strategic plans.
- Develop sales forecasts by product line and type, aligning with category objectives and best estimates.
- Manage and challenge monthly forecasts for permanent and seasonal offerings in collaboration with Sales Planning teams.
- Establish strong partnerships with markets to cascade business unit strategies and gather qualitative feedback on performance and opportunities.
- Propose biannual destocking and repricing strategies.
- Participate in defining purchase Open-To-Buy (OTB) in collaboration with Business Planning.
- Identify collection plan adjustments to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and present purchasing strategies for retail selection and core offers to guide regions on assortment and target KPIs.
- Support and challenge regional purchases with local merchandisers.
- Prepare pre-debrief and debrief analyses for top management.
- Identify cannibalization risks between seasonal and permanent assortments with Sales Planning.
- Define visual merchandising guidelines for each collection, focusing on window and interior priorities based on store typologies.
- Develop visual merchandising guidelines tailored to store clusters.
- Communicate monthly on business priorities and field feedback.
- Oversee e-commerce business management, challenging monthly forecasts and managing seasonal purchases and restocks.
- Ensure assortment visibility aligns with category strategy.
- Degree from a business school or equivalent higher education institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the luxury sector.
- Passion for products, ideally with a sensitivity to fashion jewelry.
- Strong numerical agility and synthesis capability.
- Autonomous, dynamic, with excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Proactive in assigned missions.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken), additional languages are an asset.
A minimum of 5 years in merchandising, ideally within the luxury sector, is required.
Degree from a business school or equivalent.
