1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
4. Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property, security, and record-keeping procedures.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate effectively with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
7. Participate in all inventory and cycle counts.
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
9. Complete price changes within the boutique and assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise when necessary.
10. Participate in store meetings and training seminars as required.

1. Minimum 3 years of retail stock/shipping/receiving experience.

1. Proficiency in handling receiving operations, including proper handling of merchandise.
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
3. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
4. Competence in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
5. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
6. Capability to operate all necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and sensor-tag removers.
7. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.

A minimum of 3 years in retail stock, shipping, or receiving roles is required.
