Christian Dior Senior Haute Couture Patternmaker
Christian Dior Couture is a flagship haute couture house within the LVMH group, renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and creative leadership in luxury fashion. - Interpret sketches from the Artistic Direction and translate creative intent into precise patterns and prototypes (toiles) on a wooden mannequin.
- Produce and adjust prototypes and make technical alterations following fittings to ensure perfect fit and finish for garments (manteaux, robes, jupes, vestes, pantalons, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with highly skilled premières mains, stylistes, coupeurs, seconds and Premiers d'Atelier across collections, client orders and VIP commissions.
- Guide and supervise the assembly and finishing phases with the premières mains team, ensuring couture‑level construction across diverse materials and techniques.
- Control quality at each stage of the process and propose technical solutions to improve feasibility and final appearance.
- Provide the technical information required to produce model specification sheets (fiches modèles).
- Respect deadlines and adapt to the rhythm and modulation of collections; participate actively in fittings and client or event travel when required.
- Contribute to the transmission of savoir‑faire by supporting apprentices, new hires and junior patternmakers.
- Vocational diploma in Fashion / Patternmaking (CAP, BEP or Bac Pro Métiers de la Mode / Modélisme / Patronage).
- Minimum 10 years' proven experience in patternmaking within haute couture or an equivalent high‑end atelier environment.
- Exceptional manual technique in pattern cutting, couture assembly and finishing.
- Deep expertise in fabric behaviour and handling across luxury textiles.
- Strong sense of precision, patience, proactivity and ability to work under collection deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork and autonomy; flexibility of hours during collection periods.
- Fluency in French is required; English language skills are an asset.

Minimum 10 years' experience in haute couture patternmaking or a comparable luxury atelier role, with extensive practice in both flou and/or tailleur techniques and a track record of producing made‑to‑measure and showpiece garments.
Vocational qualification (CAP/BEP) or Bac Pro in Fashion / Patternmaking / Draping (Modélisme / Patronage).
