Christian Dior Sales Planning Manager

- Lead the Best Estimate (BE) process to achieve consensus for demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with merchandising and finance.
- Conduct and lead S&OP meetings, presenting the BE to regional heads and promoting cross-functional communication to address discrepancies between sales forecasts and operational capabilities.
- Establish and manage a monthly forecasting cycle to analyze, forecast, and adjust, leading process improvements based on defined metrics and key indicators.
- Take appropriate actions to mitigate the impacts of unexpected events on demand and sales, adapting production plans accordingly.
- Enable tracking of actual sales versus forecasts for early detection and improvement in production, distribution, and merchandising strategies.
- Prepare for the Open to Buy process, driving the business to achieve financial budgets in collaboration with merchandising and finance.
- Build partnerships with Merchandising during buying sessions for each collection.
- Provide insights to merchandising before buying sessions on style efficiency and depth to improve sell-through rates.
- Prepare seasonal initial forecasts with input from the Merchandising team on buy quantity, sell-through, and duration to align with buying strategies and sell-through targets.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Sales Planning or Demand Forecasting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
- Analytical skills with a sensitivity to numbers.
- Proficiency in Anaplan and PowerBI is advantageous.
