- Drive product growth while achieving sell-through objectives.
- Serve as the liaison between the Business Unit and markets, effectively communicating product strategy and gathering qualitative market insights.
- Contribute to collection briefs by analyzing current season sales, conducting competitive analysis, and synthesizing zone-specific needs.
- Oversee daily business operations and sell-throughs, tracking key performance indicators and implementing action plans with various zones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Product Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail, and E-commerce to harmonize and maximize product launches.
- Monitor store openings and optimize assortments based on deliveries.
- Propose opportunistic and permanent restocks.
- Ensure pricing balance across currencies by monitoring currency fluctuations and strategic product pricing, implementing necessary adjustments.
- Define assortment and clustering strategies, constructing purchase and assortment strategies by cluster and zone for each collection.
- Organize and manage showrooms, estimating total volumes per line and assisting in central pre-purchases.
- Update purchasing tools and store segmentation, participate in OTB construction and monitoring with Product Marketing, Retail, Digital, and Supply Chain.
- Lead meetings with zone buyers, adjusting balances between lines, OTB adherence, assortments, and market-specific strategies.
- Validate quantities per reference by zone and define the permanent offer.
- Master's degree in business school, university, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in Retail Merchandising or Buying roles, ideally in a central position within the fashion industry.
- For managerial positions, demonstrated experience in team management and direct interaction with top management.
- Highly developed retail and numerical acumen.
- Strong sensitivity to fashion and luxury sectors.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
- Dynamic, quick, autonomous, and proactive.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, organizational, and initiative skills.
- High attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and autonomy.
- Curious, open-minded, with strong communication, listening, and observational skills.
- Availability for international travel and market visits.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in retail merchandising or buying roles.
Master's degree in business or equivalent.
