- Collaborate with Planning, Industrialization, and Costing departments to negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers.
- Manage quality and timing disputes regarding delivered materials, implementing corrective measures to restore company quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Industrialization Office to manage suppliers and manufacturers, aligning procurement with production needs.
- Enhance supplier reliability by monitoring production processes, quality assurance, delivery timelines, technological capabilities, organization, and flexibility, proposing potential partnership agreements to management.
- Support supplier research and selection through direct visits, evaluating their expertise, product quality, development and production capacity, delivery reliability, and market positioning.
- Maintain commercial relationships with suppliers, negotiating unit costs, production processes, delivery times, payments, and transportation costs.
- Propose effective and efficient management of purchases and procurement of carry-over items.
- Prepare reservations and purchase orders, overseeing their issuance.
- Degree in Management Engineering or related fields
- Fluency in English and/or French
- Experience in a similar role within manufacturing and industrial companies
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and goal-oriented skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
- Willingness to travel frequently to suppliers located in Tuscany, Marche, Campania, and Puglia
