Christian Dior Purchasing and Production Manager

- Define and implement purchasing strategies in alignment with executive direction.
- Manage a diverse network of over 125 partners, ensuring constant market surveillance of suppliers and raw materials.
- Negotiate purchasing conditions, including price, deadlines, quality, and payment terms.
- Oversee supplier contracts and monitor their execution.
- Deploy Dior's Responsible Purchasing Policy and manage RSE reporting in alignment with LVMH standards.
- Support group transformation projects related to traceability, regulations, and certifications.
- Maintain close relationships with partners, analyzing supplier performance in terms of quality, deadlines, and costs.
- Plan and coordinate production with the Retail Merchandising and Supply teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage a quality project manager responsible for overseeing quality issues within the category.
- Develop and monitor purchasing and production budgets, implementing tracking and reporting tools.
- Identify and manage risks associated with procurement and manufacturing.
- Advanced degree (Bac +5) in purchasing, production, engineering, or equivalent.
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in purchasing and production, ideally within the luxury, decoration, or tableware sectors.
- Experience in team management.
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Initiative and experimental mindset.
- Comfortable with hands-on, field-oriented work.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in prioritizing tasks.
- Mastery of IT tools (ERP, production management software, reporting tools).
Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing and production, preferably in the luxury sector.
Advanced degree (Bac +5) in purchasing, production, engineering, or equivalent.
