1. Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the entire production process.
2. Control finished goods in line with expected shipping timelines.
3. Implement and manage quality control procedures in accordance with company policies.
4. Lead and supervise the internal quality team and inspection technicians.
5. Monitor external companies to ensure subcontractors and third-party suppliers meet required quality standards and technical specifications.
6. Conduct internal and external audits and regular visits to external workshops to verify production processes and final goods quality.
7. Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement departments to prevent and resolve non-conformities.
8. Analyze quality data and define continuous improvement plans.
9. Prepare quality reports and participate in meetings with upper management.
10. Oversee training activities for both internal staff and external suppliers on quality topics.
11. Attend client or certification body inspections when required.
12. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality.
13. Perform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions to prevent recurrence of defects or quality issues.
14. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality assurance team.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Industrial field. Master’s degree is a plus.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality and Supplier Quality, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Leathergoods knowledge is preferable.

1. Deep knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and quality management software (e.g., SAP QM, Oracle, QMS systems).
2. Expertise in quality control methodologies such as Six Sigma, SPC, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
3. Proficiency in quality auditing, process validation, and testing protocols.
4. Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
5. Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
6. Negotiation skills and proven ability to manage conflicts effectively.
7. Ability to translate business needs into strategic actions and address complex Operations and suppliers’ challenges.
8. Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
9. Advanced proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office suite for business operations.
10. Advanced English proficiency (B2 or more); French knowledge is a plus.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality and Supplier Quality, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a dynamic international setting, specifically focused on Operations environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Industrial field. Master’s degree is a plus.
