Christian Dior Leather Goods Collection Manager

- Lead and manage the handbag product team, including product managers and collection coordinators.
- Oversee the development and success of collections, ensuring alignment with Dior's artistic vision and commercial goals.
- Manage timelines and budgets effectively.
- Supervise data quality and coding within the team.
- Create collection briefs for the studio, focusing on trends, market opportunities, and strategic directions.
- Validate model and name registrations with the Legal team.
- Coordinate technical development with industrial and quality teams.
- Edit the collection plan in collaboration with the Studio and development teams, making recommendations and adjustments until the showroom phase.
- Develop the modelario, a collection dashboard and purchasing tool.
- Collaborate on pricing strategy with the industrial team, ensuring margin control and monitoring.
- Craft product narratives for internal clients.
- Organize showrooms, managing prototypes and product photography, and present products to Retail and Wholesale merchandisers.
- Conduct regular travel, including monthly trips to Italy.
- Act as a women's leather goods market expert.
- Present and report projects to the management.
- Supervise competitive studies and price mapping.
- Coordinate the 360° commercialization of collections, optimizing launches across press, digital, VIP/VIC, and training channels.
- Select and provide prototypes for various shoots, managing press, digital, and VIP orders.
- Create post-showroom summary documents for press, training, and launch packs for different regions.
- Degree from a Business School in Commerce, Marketing, or Management.
- Strong product sensitivity in leather goods and in-depth knowledge of the competitive environment.
- Significant fashion and luxury culture, with a keen awareness of current trends.
- Fluency in French, Italian, and English.
- Excellent managerial skills with prior team management experience.
- Outstanding written and oral presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, organizational, and initiative-taking abilities.
- High attention to detail and precision.
- Dynamic, with excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and autonomy.
- Curious, open-minded, with strong communication, listening, and observational skills.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury and fashion is required.
Degree from a Business School in Commerce, Marketing, or Management.
