Christian Dior General Accountant

- Conduct monthly financial closings, including review and control of billing, reconciliation, and entry of intra-group intercompany transactions.
- Prepare revenue and operating expense provisions, and perform analytical accounting controls and reconciliations.
- Generate and report on revenue, profit and loss, and cash flow using consolidation tools such as Syrus.
- Draft monthly notes for management and produce quarterly balance sheet and capital expenditure reports.
- Develop and revise budgets, including revenue, profit and loss, balance sheet, capital expenditure, and cash flow.
- Manage commercial operations, including client creation, order processing, and invoicing.
- Oversee inventory control and participate in annual inventory counts.
- Monitor subcontracting costs and maintain administrative relationships with clients.
- Draft procedures and continuously improve tools and work files.
- Serve as a financial partner to Maison Vermont teams, including atelier, production, studio, and administration.
- Handle accounting matters related to John Galliano activities, including monthly closings and management control.
- Validate supplier payments and conduct annual contract reviews.
- Act as a key contact for external accounting firms, auditors, suppliers, and clients.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and legal monitoring, particularly regarding recapitalization and corporate restructuring.
- Higher education degree in accounting, finance, or management control (minimum Bac +3).
- Significant experience of at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in computer tools and accounting software; knowledge of Syrus is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience in the fashion or luxury sector is a plus.
- Knowledge of French and international accounting standards.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
