Christian Dior Finance Manager

- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems, procedures, and goals.
- Lead internal control and compliance initiatives in collaboration with the regional Internal Control Manager.
- Review and ensure accuracy of accounts for Brazil.
- Maintain accuracy of fixed assets and manage their depreciation.
- Oversee all tax-related matters including tax returns, sales taxes, and audits.
- Collaborate with external advisors on transfer pricing reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages including P&L and balance sheets.
- Supervise accounting and fiscal duties with the accounting service provider.
- Conduct monthly reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
- Oversee bank activities including payments, reconciliations, and cash forecasts.
- Challenge cost allocations across departments.
- Analyze trends in key performance indicators and investigate variances.
- Monitor yearly and monthly targets in collaboration with Brand Executives.
- Construct and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Participate in monthly closing and analysis.
- Report financial information to HQ and management promptly.
- Validate local income statements and balance sheets.
- Identify and analyze financial risks.
- Provide management with insights on key local topics.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for business or new projects.
- Work cross-functionally with finance teams in Mexico and the US.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or FP&A.
- Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
- Strong confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
- Track record of high accuracy and attention to detail in data reporting.
- Understanding of the retail industry and product life cycles is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel and fluent in English.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Entrepreneurial drive and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Minimum of 5 years in a relevant financial role, preferably within the retail or luxury industry.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
