1. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems, procedures, and goals.
2. Lead internal control and compliance initiatives in collaboration with the regional Internal Control Manager.
3. Review and ensure accuracy of accounts for Brazil.
4. Maintain accuracy of fixed assets and manage their depreciation.
5. Oversee all tax-related matters including tax returns, sales taxes, and audits.
6. Collaborate with external advisors on transfer pricing reporting.
7. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages including P&L and balance sheets.
8. Supervise accounting and fiscal duties with the accounting service provider.
9. Conduct monthly reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
10. Oversee bank activities including payments, reconciliations, and cash forecasts.
11. Challenge cost allocations across departments.
12. Analyze trends in key performance indicators and investigate variances.
13. Monitor yearly and monthly targets in collaboration with Brand Executives.
14. Construct and monitor budgets and forecasts.
15. Participate in monthly closing and analysis.
16. Report financial information to HQ and management promptly.
17. Validate local income statements and balance sheets.
18. Identify and analyze financial risks.
19. Provide management with insights on key local topics.
20. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for business or new projects.
21. Work cross-functionally with finance teams in Mexico and the US.

1. Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or FP&A.
2. Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
3. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
4. Strong confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
5. Track record of high accuracy and attention to detail in data reporting.
6. Understanding of the retail industry and product life cycles is advantageous.
7. Proficient in Excel and fluent in English.
