Christian Dior Department Manager

1. Maximise department sales and profitability through proactive commercial management and daily monitoring of sales vs targets
2. Collaborate with the Boutique Manager to optimise stock usage and inventory flow, ensuring adherence to ordering and transfer procedures
3. Define objectives and budgets for team members; track performance and take corrective actions to meet targets
4. Coach, train and engage the department team; manage hiring input, scheduling and development conversations
5. Coordinate with Marketing to develop the annual calendar and implement in-store marketing and visual merchandising activities
6. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners to support partnerships and product flow
7. Attend managerial meetings to report on shop performance and provide actionable feedback to the Boutique Manager

1. Minimum five years of retail experience, with at least two years in a managerial role within a luxury product environment
2. Demonstrable commercial initiative and creativity with a strong fashion sensitivity
3. Proven people management skills: coaching, performance management and team engagement
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong organisational and prioritisation ability in a fast-paced setting
5. Fluent in German and English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous

Minimum 5 years of retail experience required, preferably including at least 2 years in a management position within the luxury sector.

High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, retail or fashion is preferred.
