Christian Dior Assistant Quality Control Team Leader

- Adjust resource allocation based on control volumes.
- Alert the team leader of potential delays or non-conformities.
- Communicate feedback for continuous product and process improvement.
- Manage network returns, ensuring quality status upon receipt, processing, and repackaging.
- Coordinate quality alerts and information flow with the Quality Control Manager.
- Perform operational tasks as needed.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of product re-conformity.
- Manage service emails and phone inquiries.
- Track activity and update monitoring tools and files.
- Train and integrate new team members, identify skill gaps, and coordinate necessary training.
- Communicate and enforce control procedures for each category.
- Share and ensure understanding of quality standards for each collection.
- Ensure instructions are understood and applied at workstations.
- Analyze and resolve team member issues upon request.
- Relay information and occasionally lead team meetings.
- Communicate with counterparts in other departments and production regarding anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental policies, especially waste sorting.
- Ensure safety instructions are followed and emergency exits and extinguishers are accessible.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the service area.
- Minimum 5 years in operational team management in production or quality control in ready-to-wear fashion.
- Knowledge of couture garment manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency in quality control methodologies.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, embellishments, and other couture materials.
- Knowledge of alteration techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams; familiarity with WMS preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies.
- Team leadership and training skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Initiative, autonomy, agility, and responsiveness.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in English preferred.
Minimum 5 years in operational team management in production or quality control in the ready-to-wear sector.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; knowledge of couture required.
