Christian Dior Assistant Boutique Manager

- Ensure an immaculate luxury boutique environment in accordance with Dior standards, managing interior and exterior presentation and implementing Visual Merchandising guidelines to elevate the collection’s prestige.
- Support the Boutique Manager in driving sales performance: participate in high-value client interactions, direct clients to category owners, demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across categories and coach the sales team daily to optimise conversion and average transaction value.
- Lead clienteling and service initiatives: ensure warm, elegant customer reception, maintain high-quality communications across channels (in-store, phone, email), cultivate trusted relationships with VIP clientele and actively support CRM use to grow loyalty and repeat business.
- Organise and support client events, trunk shows and key image invitations to reinforce client relationships and brand presence.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and continual development of boutique staff; deliver training, conduct regular coaching sessions, lead daily briefings and support performance evaluations tied to KPIs and action plans.
- Manage boutique operations and administration: ensure compliance with company procedures for finance and accounting, maintain optimal inventory organisation and storage conditions, implement regular cycle counts (weekly counts for high-value items; monthly or quarterly cycles for other stock as appropriate) and enforce cash desk, fiscal and customs procedures.
- Consolidate and analyse boutique reports and POS data, monitor competitor information, and provide timely, actionable feedback to the Boutique Manager while ensuring effective communication between the boutique and HQ functions.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury retail in an Assistant Boutique/Store Manager capacity.
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams, with strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
- Distinctive service orientation with demonstrated clienteling capabilities and sensitivity to VIP clientele.

At least two years of progressive experience in luxury retail, including direct responsibility for boutique operations, frontline sales with VIP customers and day‑to‑day coaching of sales teams. Experience handling high-value merchandise and implementing Visual Merchandising and clienteling strategies is required.
