- Implement and drive the merchandising strategy and process for the full product category, ensuring efficient time to market and achieving targeted sell-through rates.
- Manage retail merchandise buying and inventory control, develop wholesale business, oversee outlet business, and manage family sales proposals.
- Develop seasonal Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans and forecasts for both retail and wholesale networks in alignment with sales forecasts and seasonal trends.
- Attend local and overseas periodic seasonal buying sessions and product committees.
- Conduct periodic product training sessions for both retail and wholesale businesses.
- Consolidate regular merchandising performance and sales analysis reports.
- Collaborate closely with retail and communications teams to establish new product launch strategies, VIC trunk shows, and press days.
- Work closely with regional and global merchandising teams to deliver merchandising excellence.
- Monitor full-price, seasonal markdown strategies, goods return, product consolidation, stock allocation, and off-season stock management.
- Conduct regular competitor product pricing reviews and product quality reports.
- Integrate global and regional Visual Merchandising (VM) strategies, consolidate VM props, develop and implement local VM guidelines, and conduct VM training for store staff.
- Monitor and execute both window and in-store VM to create greater visual impact for local consumers in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Maximize selling opportunities by working closely with retail, communications, and merchandising teams to support periodical VIC trunk shows.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in both oral and written Chinese and English.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in retail merchandising within the premium/luxury women's fashion or leather goods sector, with at least 5 years at a senior management level.
Bachelor's Degree or higher.
