Cheval Blanc Room Service Supervisor

- Oversee and ensure the meticulous setup and maintenance of the designated service area.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the room service menu, including beverages and dish preparation.
- Act as a substitute for the order taker in their absence.
- Advise guests to ensure their satisfaction and contribute to the revenue optimization of the service point.
- Participate in or manage order taking, transmission, and service of dishes and beverages in accordance with hotel and restaurant protocols.
- Ensure the alignment of prepared dishes with orders while maintaining the restaurant's quality standards.
- Manage the clearing and resetting of trays.
- Present invoices and handle transactions following hotel procedures.
- Promote various services and products available within the hotel and Cheval Blanc establishments.
- Perform cleaning tasks as per hotel procedures.
- Supervise assigned staff.
- Ensure optimal minibar stocking following hotel procedures.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Manage linen handling, including setup, renewal, and supply.
- Assist in cellar management.
- Facilitate internal communication and information flow within the service.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report any 'abnormal' situations regarding client or colleague safety to superiors.
- Advanced degree in Hospitality/Restaurant Management (e.g., BTS).
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant environments.
- Strong understanding of gastronomy.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong representational potential.
- Outstanding customer service and hospitality skills, with courtesy and tact.
- Empathy, anticipation, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail, precision, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and team spirit.
- Desire to advance in the hospitality and restaurant industry.
- Significant experience in a similar high-end service environment.
- Sales and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Micros.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in a third language (e.g., Arabic, Russian) is advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years in a similar high-end service environment.
Advanced degree in Hospitality/Restaurant Management (e.g., BTS).
