- Welcome guests according to hotel and restaurant procedures, ensuring optimal satisfaction throughout the service.
- Oversee billing processes in the venue with the approval of the hierarchical superior.
- Promote the venue and culinary events organized by the hotel and across Cheval Blanc properties.
- Set up, maintain, and inspect the designated area of the venue.
- Advise guests to ensure their complete satisfaction and contribute to revenue optimization.
- Participate in or ensure order taking, transmission, and service of dishes and beverages following hotel and restaurant procedures.
- Ensure the alignment between prepared dishes and orders while maintaining restaurant quality standards.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Present bills and process payments according to hotel and venue procedures.
- Promote various services and products available within the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties.
- Perform cleaning tasks following hotel procedures.
- Supervise assigned staff.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Manage linen (setup, renewal, supply).
- Assist in managing the wine cellar.
- Facilitate internal communication and information sharing within the service.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report any 'abnormal' situations regarding client or colleague safety to management.
- BEP/CAP in Cuisine or BAC PRO in Hospitality
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards
- Experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred gastronomy
- Excellent interpersonal and representational skills
- Strong customer service orientation, courtesy, and tact
- Availability, flexibility, and adaptability
- Attention to detail, precision, and organizational skills
- Empathy, anticipation, and proactivity
- Team spirit
- Desire to learn and progress in hospitality/restaurant professions
- Significant service experience in a similar high-standing establishment
- Sales and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros, and La Fourchette
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), Japanese appreciated (written and spoken)
A minimum of 3 years of significant service experience in a similar high-standing establishment is required.
BEP/CAP in Cuisine or BAC PRO in Hospitality
