- Welcome guests in accordance with hotel procedures at the Italian contemporary restaurant, Langosteria.
- Advise guests on cocktail and spirit selections to enhance their experience and optimize sales.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the service, including handling billing and payment processes.
- Promote the restaurant and hotel events, as well as other Cheval Blanc properties.
- Set up, manage, and maintain the bar area, including stock management.
- Create and serve cocktails and beverages as requested by guests.
- Take and relay orders, and serve food and beverages according to hotel standards.
- Clear and reset tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next service.
- Supervise and guide junior staff members.
- Participate in inventory management and linen handling.
- Contribute to the development and updating of the bar menu.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, including alcohol and tobacco laws.
- Report any unusual situations or safety concerns to management.
- Formal training in bar service such as BTS in Hospitality and Catering, BP Barman, CQP Barman, or MC Barman.
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards.
- Understanding of beverage service legislation.
- Experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service acumen.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in sales and communication.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese) being advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Micros systems.
A minimum of 3 years of significant service experience in a similar high-end establishment is required.
Relevant hospitality or bar service qualifications.
