1. Oversee month-end closing processes for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Support the Manager in Financial Accounting & Reporting with specialized financial closing activities.
3. Conduct operational and internal control activities, including asset audits, lease reviews, and stock counts.
4. Assist with statutory compliance tasks, such as statutory account preparation and analysis.
5. Maintain and update Chanel’s Chart of Accounts, ensuring adherence to internal controls.
6. Escalate any professional or ethical misconduct, ensuring compliance with company policies.

1. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
2. CPA qualification or progress towards CPA is required.
3. Membership in professional accounting bodies such as ACCA is highly regarded.

1. Expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
2. Strong written and oral communication skills.
3. Ability to build successful relationships through collaboration and consensus building.

Several years of experience in financial accounting, with a preference for retail industry exposure.

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline.
