- Deliver discreet, personalised consultations and product demonstrations across fragrance and cosmetics to cultivate long-term client relationships and loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, tailored recommendations and proactive clienteling.
- Manage client records, appointments and follow-ups using the store’s CRM tools to maximise retention and lifetime value.
- Execute visual merchandising and presentation standards to maintain brand aesthetics within the John Lewis concession.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale, handle samples and testers in accordance with hygiene protocols, and manage stock replenishment.
- Participate in product training, brand initiatives and in-store events to deepen product knowledge and support promotional activity.
- Uphold Chanel’s service standards, loss-prevention procedures and departmental policies at all times.
- Previous experience in luxury beauty, fragrance or cosmetics retail preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering high-calibre client service and meeting sales objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional appearance.
- Flexible availability including weekends, bank holidays and peak trading periods.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to work within John Lewis’ concession framework.

Typically 1–3 years’ experience in retail sales within beauty, fragrance or a luxury environment; demonstrable success in client acquisition and repeat business is preferred.
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent); professional qualifications in beauty, cosmetics or makeup artistry are advantageous but not required.
