Chanel Fashion Merchandising Manager

- Define, deploy, and monitor the local merchandising strategy in alignment with Chanel’s brand image and business goals.
- Lead the buying process across seasonal showrooms, ensuring tailored assortments for each boutique.
- Analyze sales data and monitor key performance indicators to drive business decisions on replenishments, transfers, and markdowns.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, Retail, Marketing, and Style Expertise teams to enhance product visibility and cohesion.
- Provide market intelligence to regional and global teams regarding trends, client preferences, and product needs.
- Oversee the performance, assortment, visibility, and retail activation plans of the Eyewear category.
- Manage and develop the Fashion Merchandising intern, fostering collaboration with retail and regional teams.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Fashion/Luxury Merchandising (Buyer) and/or Retail.
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset with proven experience in Fashion/Luxury Merchandising.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, client behavior, and product performance.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; proficiency in Spanish or French is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and merchandising systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and influencing skills.
- Leadership capabilities with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
A minimum of 8 years in Fashion/Luxury Merchandising (Buyer) and/or Retail is required.
