Celine Assistant Buyer for Materials and Components

- Analyze material and component needs based on sales forecasts and client orders, and place production orders accordingly.
- Review pre-purchase reports and manage cancellations.
- Negotiate and ensure adherence to the quality, cost, and delivery timeline triad, including Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ).
- Ensure production timelines for materials and components are met, and oversee delivery schedules to manufacturers or logistics platforms.
- Manage material allocations with manufacturers.
- Communicate timelines and provide visibility on production planning with production managers and manufacturers.
- Research alternatives for high-risk purchases and oversee post-standardization industrialization topics.
- Manage dormant, real, and offsite stock levels.
- Verify and approve invoices.
- Update reports on internal and external supplier performance.
- Maintain supplier relationships and monitor penalties.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to Quality procedures.
- Define certified materials and collect certificates during transactions.
- Maintain a reference library of materials and components for finished product manufacturers.
- Conduct inventory checks with manufacturers.
- Oversee after-sales service claims and order necessary repair parts.
- Order master piece matrices based on needs or stock.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in purchasing, such as an internship or apprenticeship, is appreciated.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Teamwork and adaptability.
- Versatility and initiative in production roles.
- Product sensitivity and quality awareness.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
Entry-level experience, with a preference for those with prior internships or apprenticeships in purchasing.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent.
