Cartier High Jewelry Sales Assistant

- Prepare and assist in private viewing appointments with the High Jewelry Sales Team, ensuring all products and resources are ready.
- Support hospitality elements during appointments, including beverage service and lite bites.
- Interact with clients, providing exceptional service with the highest level of courtesy and professionalism.
- Assist the High Jewelry Sales Team by managing product logistics during appointments.
- Maintain and manage the client wishlist and capture relevant notes for the Sales Team.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of the Sales Team and clients swiftly and decisively.
- Uphold the Cartier image by maintaining a professional demeanor and acting as an ambassador of the Maison.
- Travel to local boutiques, events, or offsite locations to support bespoke appointments as needed.
- Follow-up and report on pending High Jewelry deals using the opportunity management tool.
- Assist with client development actions, including creating wishlists and fulfilling gifting ideas.
- Support the Sales Team with administrative tasks such as expense reports and email proof-reading.
- Handle client insurance valuation requests accurately and timely.
- Partner with departments to ensure an exceptional guest journey and monitor client care-service matters.
- Set-up and break down High Jewelry product displays and conduct inventory counts.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to ensure correct displays and adjust as needed.
- Ensure all High-End pieces are tagged correctly and in first-choice condition.
- Update and maintain an active High Jewelry library, including product news and collection books.
- Submit and follow-up on transfer requests for High-End products.
- Comply with all Cartier security and operational procedures.
- Organize logistics for shipping and hand deliveries.
- Support broader boutique operational and hospitality tasks when not engaged in High Jewelry activities.
- Remain up-to-date on the full range of High-End products and develop deep knowledge of Cartier's creations and the luxury marketplace.
- Educational background or commensurate experience in high-end retail or hospitality.
- Supplemental education/credentials with GIA, Gem-A, FHH, or similar institutions are a plus.
- Strong service-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong moral compass and sense of aesthetics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong situational and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to project an approachable and professional image.
- Additional language skills (Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic) are a plus.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality.
Educational background in high-end retail or hospitality.
Expected salary range: $30-33 per hour. Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
