Cartier High Jewelry Sales Assistant

- Prepare and assist in private viewing appointments with the High Jewelry Sales Team, ensuring all products and resources are ready for client viewings.
- Support hospitality elements during appointments, including beverage service and lite bites.
- Interact with clients, providing exceptional service with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.
- Assist the High Jewelry Sales Team by managing product logistics during appointments.
- Maintain and manage the client wishlist in the product management catalogue, capturing relevant client interests and providing recaps to the sales team.
- Anticipate and respond swiftly to the needs of the Sales Team and clients.
- Uphold the Cartier image by maintaining professionalism and acting as an ambassador of the Maison.
- Travel to local boutiques, events, or offsite locations with the High Jewelry Sales Team to support bespoke appointments as needed.
- Follow-up and report on pending High Jewelry deals using the opportunity management tool.
- Assist with client development actions, such as creating wishlists, fulfilling gifting ideas, and booking reservations.
- Support the High Jewelry Sales Team with administrative tasks, including expense reports and email proof-reading.
- Handle client insurance valuation requests accurately and promptly.
- Partner with various departments to ensure an exceptional guest journey.
- Monitor and follow-up on client care-service matters.
- Set-up and break down High Jewelry product displays for opening and closing.
- Conduct inventory counts as required and ensure correct product tagging and condition.
- Update and maintain an active High Jewelry library, including product news and collection books.
- Submit transfer requests for High-End products and ensure timely arrivals.
- Understand and comply with all Cartier security and operational procedures.
- Organize logistics for shipping and hand deliveries.
- Support the larger boutique with general operational and hospitality tasks when not engaged in High Jewelry activities.
- Remain updated on the full range of High-End products, including those in the boutique and region.
- Develop a deep knowledge of Cartier, its creations, and the luxury marketplace.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in high-end retail or hospitality.
- Supplemental education or credentials from GIA, Gem-A, FHH, or similar institutions are advantageous.
- Strong service-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong moral compass and sense of aesthetics.
- Curiosity for the luxury industry, High Jewelry, and art.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong situational and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to project a professional image in appearance and demeanor.
- Additional language skills (Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic) are a plus.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is required.
Educational background or commensurate experience in high-end retail or hospitality.
Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
