Cartier High Jewelry Sales Assistant

- Prepare and assist in private viewing appointments with the High Jewelry Sales Team.
- Ensure viewing rooms are meticulously prepared for client appointments, with all products and resources ready for presentation.
- Provide exceptional hospitality during appointments, including beverage service and light refreshments.
- Interact with clients, delivering service with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.
- Assist the High Jewelry Sales Team by transporting products to and from the viewing room during appointments.
- Manage client wishlists in the product management catalogue, capturing relevant notes on client interests.
- Anticipate the needs of the Sales Team and clients, responding swiftly and appropriately.
- Uphold the Cartier image by maintaining a professional demeanor and acting as an ambassador of the Maison.
- Travel to local boutiques, events, or offsite locations with the High Jewelry Sales Team to support bespoke appointments as needed.
- Follow-up and report on pending High Jewelry deals using the opportunity management tool.
- Assist with client development actions, such as creating wishlists and fulfilling gifting ideas.
- Support the High Jewelry Sales Team with administrative tasks, including expense reports and email proof-reading.
- Handle client insurance valuation requests accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure an exceptional guest journey.
- Monitor and follow-up on client care-service matters, leveraging appropriate stakeholders.
- Set-up and break down High Jewelry product displays for opening and closing.
- Conduct inventory counts as required.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure correct displays, adjusting as needed when products are transferred.
- Ensure all High-End pieces are tagged correctly and in optimal condition.
- Update and maintain an active High Jewelry library, including product news and collection books.
- Submit transfer requests for High-End products and follow-up on pending transfers to ensure timely arrival.
- Comply with all Cartier security and operational procedures, including product handling and inventory control.
- Organize logistics for shipping and hand deliveries.
- Support the larger boutique with general operational and hospitality tasks when not engaged in High Jewelry activities.
- Remain thoroughly informed on the full range of High-End products, including those in the boutique and region.
- Develop a deep knowledge of Cartier, its creations, and the luxury marketplace.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in high-end retail or hospitality.
- Supplemental education or credentials with GIA, Gem-A, FHH, or similar institutions are advantageous.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends, and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and strong computer skills.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Additional language skills (Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic) are advantageous.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is required.
Educational background or equivalent experience in high-end retail or hospitality.
