Burberry Sourcing Coordinator

1. Manage seasonal placement and follow‑through of finished goods for assigned category(ies), ensuring on‑time delivery, quality and cost objectives are met.
2. Advise vendors on seasonal buying/production calendars, unit plans and negotiate minimums in partnership with line managers.
3. Coordinate raw material call‑offs and receipts with manufacturers to align production to delivery schedules and Time & Action calendar.
4. Update PLM with vendor costs and liaise with product development to maintain accurate BOM information.
5. Partner with product development, technical and QA teams to secure fit approvals, resolve quality issues and enforce production compliance.
6. Conduct seasonal price and margin analysis across vendors and categories to support pricing finalisation and counter‑sourcing decisions.
7. Monitor pre‑buy vs actual performance and collaborate with raw materials teams to identify and rectify shortfalls.
8. Communicate seasonal requirements and best practices to vendors and participate in vendor performance reviews.
9. Manage workload prioritisation within the sourcing team and train/develop Sourcing Assistant(s) as required.

1. Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role with exposure to sourcing or vendor management.
2. Strong costing and negotiation capabilities with commercial acumen.
3. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP and PLM is desirable.
4. Familiarity with retail math and BOM management.
5. Organised, detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through and the ability to react to changing priorities.
6. Ability to build collaborative relationships across cross‑functional teams; willingness to travel if required.

Practical experience in production/manufacturing and hands‑on involvement with vendor management, sourcing calendars and costing; prior exposure to luxury or apparel supply chains is advantageous.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Textiles, Fashion Technology or a related discipline preferred.
