- Oversee daily and monthly financial monitoring and manage monthly and quarterly closings.
- Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Drive financial planning initiatives and contribute to cross-functional projects.
- Serve as a business partner to the local team, providing financial oversight and support.
- Review P&L with the Mexico Corporate Team to understand drivers and educate teams to drive results.
- Partner with local and New York accounting teams to ensure accurate financial entries and reclassifications.
- Create and update Mexico P&L, providing detailed explanations of monthly variances to leadership.
- Reconcile the ledger and prepare necessary accruals.
- Participate in quarterly inventory and publish monthly sales reports to landlords.
- Reconcile invoicing with actual sales and improve internal financial controls and processes.
- Collaborate with corporate teams on budgeting and forecasting, ensuring comprehensive understanding of budgets.
- Provide financial modeling to support strategic decision-making and collaborate on long-term financial planning.
- Oversee training and development programs to enhance financial acumen across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a retail or luxury environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Advanced Excel skills and extensive experience in financial data manipulation and information systems.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Capability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change, with a commitment to excellence.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, with a preference for experience in the retail or luxury sectors.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
