Bottega Veneta Assistant Merchandising Planning Manager

- Collaborate with the General Merchandising Manager and merchandising team to develop seasonal Open-To-Buy plans and sales forecasts, supporting merchandise strategies and buying needs.
- Generate standard weekly and monthly merchandise management reports, as well as ad hoc reports, to assess business performance at detailed quantity and value levels, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, providing analysis and implementing corporate product strategies, facilitating execution and follow-up on action plans.
- Act as an inventory control expert, overseeing stock levels, delivery, and demand and supply management, working closely with merchandisers and finance to determine appropriate inventory targets.
- Partner with merchandisers to align monthly forecasts and coordinate with headquarters on supply and demand planning to ensure appropriate replenishment and timely support to stores.
- Track markdown sales during markdown seasons and coordinate returns and allocations to warehouses or outlets.
- Manage outlet operations by analyzing promotional strategies to enhance profitability and recommending measures to increase profit margins and stock efficiency.
- Coordinate transfers and allocations for both full-price direct-operated stores and outlets.
- Monitor currency exchange rate fluctuations and coordinate with retail and finance teams to manage price adjustments.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Degree in Economics, Finance/Accounting, Business-related field, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of merchandising planning experience in the retail industry, with at least 4 years of Open-To-Buy planning experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical acumen with excellent proficiency in Excel and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PowerBI or Power Pivot is advantageous.
- Expertise in budgeting, sales planning, inventory control, supply and demand, sales reporting, and logistics arrangements.
- Ability to learn quickly, self-motivated, well-organized, passionate about fashion, capable of working under pressure, and a good team player.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
A minimum of 7 years of merchandising planning experience in the retail industry, with at least 4 years in Open-To-Buy planning preferred.
Degree in Economics, Finance/Accounting, Business-related field, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred.
