1. Diagnose, plan and execute repairs and restorations on high‑end jewellery (resizing, soldering, prong repair, re‑setting stones, polishing and finishing).
2. Perform precision stone setting, micro‑soldering and metalwork consistent with maison standards and client expectations.
3. Conduct rigorous quality control and cosmetic finishing to guarantee aesthetic and structural integrity of each piece.
4. Document interventions in the after‑sales system, prepare technical estimates and liaise with boutique teams and clients to communicate status and timelines.
5. Maintain workshop tools, equipment and inventory; ensure compliance with safety, conservation and anti‑theft procedures.
6. Coordinate with external specialist ateliers (gemmology, engraving, plating) when required and mentor junior bench staff.

1. Professional qualification in jewellery bench work or equivalent (CAP/BEP in bijouterie, vocational diploma or recognised bench jeweller certification).
2. Proven expertise in traditional jewellery techniques: soldering, stone setting, ring sizing and polishing.
3. Understanding of precious metals, gem mounting and material conservation appropriate to high‑jewellery pieces.
4. Strong manual dexterity, acute visual acuity and a meticulous approach to finishing and detail.
5. Fluency in French and/or other languages is an asset for client interaction and cross‑border coordination.

Diploma or vocational qualification in jewellery making/bench work (CAP/BEP or equivalent) or completion of a recognised apprenticeship in jewellery craftsmanship.
