Join Tiffany & Co. in Cumberland, United States as a Material Planner/Buyer. Execute MRP plans, manage inventory, and collaborate with suppliers in a dynamic luxury environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute the MRP production plan as determined by the Supply Chain Organization.
  • Manage excess and obsolete inventory, including reporting and processes.
  • Validate purchased-item parameters such as safety stock, lot-sizing, and order policies.
  • Resolve open order conflicts and supplier capacity constraints with raw-material suppliers.
  • Lead qualifications with raw-material suppliers.
  • Ensure data integrity of all product information.
  • Purchase raw materials for the Forest Hill and Dominican Republic facilities.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage slow-moving inventory reports quarterly.
  • Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to resolve material availability issues.
  • Manage relationships with specific vendors and serve as the organization’s point of contact.
  • Support the organization in resolving problems with vendor products and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent experience
  • 3 – 5 years experience in Planning/Procurement
  • MRP/ERP system experience in a Supply Chain Manufacturing organization
  • Strong background in a Lean Manufacturing environment
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in Planning/Procurement within a Supply Chain Manufacturing organization.
