Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing leadership to craft and manage Central & Regional budgets, including annual budget development and revisions.
  • Design and implement robust budget equations for key areas such as Global Marketing and Global Media.
  • Lead quarterly Central marketing budget reviews with the CMO, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze worldwide marketing spend, providing detailed monthly reports with actionable insights.
  • Consolidate worldwide marketing budgets, collaborating with regional partners and Central teams.
  • Manage approved incremental and reallocated marketing funds at regional and market levels.
  • Oversee Central business unit monthly reporting and the monthly close process.
  • Manage the global marketing tracker and research innovative ERP solutions.
  • Produce quarterly event ROI reports, demonstrating the link between marketing investment and sales growth.
  • Act as a financial systems subject matter expert, overseeing financial reporting systems.
  • Lead and mentor a seasonal intern and potentially a Marketing FP&A Analyst.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with a focus on Marketing Finance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and confidence to collaborate with senior management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently.
  • Experience in coaching and developing financial professionals.
  • Impeccable presentation skills for communicating complex financial data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Creative thinker willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and financial planning systems.

Experience

A minimum of 7+ years in Financial Planning and Analysis, particularly in Marketing Finance, with experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with senior leadership.

Education

An MBA or CPA designation is preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in New York, New York, USA, with easy access to New York.

Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $130,000 - $165,000, depending on relevant skills and experience.
