Swatch Group Gems in Cormondrèche, Switzerland seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator (80–100%) to manage procurement, logistics and supplier relations for gemstones.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities for diamonds and precious stones, including purchase order management, supplier follow-up and delivery tracking.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (product development, procurement, quality, manufacturing and finance) to align demand, lead times and inventory requirements.
  • Manage import/export logistics and documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, trade controls and company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and quality metrics; initiate corrective actions and support supplier development where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock reconciliations and periodic audits.
  • Prepare operational reports and forecasts to support planning and decision-making; escalate risks to avoid supply interruptions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce lead times and enhance traceability across the value chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, business administration or a related discipline.
  • Practical knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation and Incoterms.
  • Demonstrable experience working with suppliers and managing international logistics in a regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and advanced Excel skills for reporting and inventory management.
  • High level of precision, confidentiality and understanding of the luxury/jewellery value chain is an advantage.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent.
