Sephora Vice President, HR Business Partner & Talent Acquisition — Retail

1. Serve as strategic HR partner to Retail senior leadership; develop and execute people strategies aligned to business objectives and growth priorities.
2. Lead and scale the Retail HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition functions to deliver consistent, high-impact HR solutions across stores and regional teams.
3. Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition for Retail, including sourcing, recruitment strategy, and hire quality to attract diverse, high-calibre talent.
4. Drive organization design, workforce planning, and enterprise HR initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and support retail transformation.
5. Partner with Employee Relations and Labor Relations leaders to advise on performance management, employee relations, compliance and risk mitigation.
6. Use people analytics and engagement insights to identify trends, shape proactive retention strategies, and improve employee experience across store networks.
7. Build and mentor a high-performing HR and TA leadership bench, with emphasis on succession planning, development and accountability.
8. Lead change management programs to enable strategic store initiatives and improve leader–employee relationships; travel to stores and regional meetings as required (~10%).

1. 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including significant responsibility supporting retail or multi-site organizations.
2. Proven track record advising senior leaders and influencing at the executive level on people strategy and organizational issues.
3. Demonstrated experience leading and developing HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams in complex, matrixed environments.
4. Strong competency in talent strategy, organizational transformation, employee relations, and workforce planning.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to operate with agility and manage ambiguity.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources leadership experience with demonstrable success supporting retail or multi-site operations, leading HRBP and TA teams, and delivering enterprise-level HR programs that improve engagement and business outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required; advanced degree (MA/MBA) or HR certification preferred.
