Sephora Store Talent & Operations Manager

- Lead all people-related and operational activities for the assigned Sephora store, ensuring adherence to corporate operational standards.
- Own recruitment for key store roles, conduct final interviews and manage candidate selection using the Applicant Tracking System as needed.
- Design and deliver onboarding and continuous training programs in partnership with the Store Director and Education partners to elevate Beauty Advisor capabilities.
- Create and maintain store schedules, oversee payroll processes and ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet sales and service targets.
- Conduct timely performance management activities, including annual reviews for direct reports, coaching conversations and follow-up on performance improvement plans.
- Manage inventory and stock operations: shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and process compliance with corporate directives.
- Monitor controllable expenses and contribute to store financial performance through a solid understanding of sales drivers, payroll and other operating costs.
- Two to four years’ experience in a similar management role in a store with comparable sales volume or equivalent internal retail experience.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain store leaders and frontline sales teams who deliver sales and excellent client service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated competence in performance management and employee development.

Two to four years in a comparable store management or people/operations role within retail, preferably in a high-volume beauty or specialty retail environment.
Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Business, Retail Management, Human Resources or a related discipline preferred; relevant professional development in leadership and training is an asset.
