1. Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations to meet each client’s individual needs and preferences.
2. Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and routines to build loyalty.
3. Stay current with beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant, trend-forward advice.
4. Achieve sales goals and key performance indicators by converting consultations into purchases and building client relationships.
5. Support store presentation through merchandising, inventory tasks and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
6. Uphold Sephora’s standards and policies to ensure a safe, inclusive and enjoyable shopping experience for clients and colleagues.
7. Maintain reliable attendance and meet required minimum weekly shifts; be available for nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

1. Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service.
2. Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
3. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; proven collaborator in team environments.
4. Ability to learn quickly and retain product knowledge to share with clients.
5. Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to perform standard retail duties.

Entry-level role; prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
