1. Safeguard store assets and contribute to a secure, inclusive environment for clients and colleagues.
2. Maintain a visible presence on the selling floor (approximately 75–80% of shift) to deter theft and support service.
3. Monitor CCTV and other reporting tools to identify, investigate and document incidents of loss or safety concerns.
4. Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
5. Lead or participate in meetings and trainings to reinforce asset protection protocols and safety awareness.
6. De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing client and employee safety and preserving the client experience.
7. Conduct audits, prepare asset-protection reports and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
8. Support multiple locations as required and represent the company in external proceedings, including testifying in court if necessary.

1. 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
2. Working knowledge of retail shrink, loss-prevention principles and safety protocols.
3. Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage sensitive incidents with professionalism.
4. Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
5. Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and reliable attendance.
6. Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention with demonstrable understanding of retail shrink and safety practices.

High school diploma or equivalent; security, loss-prevention or related certifications preferred.
