Sephora Asset Protection Investigator

- Identify and report theft or company policy violations committed by employees to direct supervisor.
- Observe, apprehend, or deter individuals committing external theft.
- Review exception reports and inventory reporting to detect dishonest activity.
- Assist with internal investigations and interviews.
- Ensure strict compliance with laws and Sephora policies concerning investigations, apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Conduct physical surveillance on the production floor and through CCTV systems.
- Testify in court for cases involving the company.
- Participate in inventory processes and shrink reduction plans.
- Train warehouse associates and promote Loss Prevention awareness.
- Perform checklists and audits, communicating findings with leadership.
- Develop professional relationships with warehouse personnel, Loss Prevention staff, and local law enforcement.
- Serve as a trainer and mentor for new and existing Agents and Security Guard staff.
- Review and approve Security Guard staff schedules.
- Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment, preferably within Supply Chain.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions in stressful situations.
- Aptitude to de-escalate volatile situations.
- Capacity to work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment, preferably within Supply Chain.
High School graduate or equivalent.
