Rolex seeks an R&D Engineer in Geneva, Switzerland, to lead innovative projects in silicon technologies for watchmaking. Join a leader in luxury horology.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Propose and implement research and development projects related to innovative manufacturing or measurement processes, particularly those involving silicon technologies in watchmaking.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with partner departments such as R&D, Industrialization, Production, Industrial Logistics, and Quality.
  • Manage projects in collaboration with academic or industrial partners.
  • Formalize and communicate methodologies and results through technical reports and presentations.
  • Conduct scientific and technical monitoring of innovative manufacturing processes relevant to horology, in close collaboration with other specialists within the company.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in physics or microtechnology from a recognized institution (HES/EPF) or equivalent qualification; specialization or doctorate is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in innovative manufacturing and measurement processes, particularly in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience in project management within an industrial setting.

Skills

Strong communication skills. Meticulous and autonomous with a pronounced sense of organization and planning. Dynamic, team-oriented, curious, and capable of working in a multidisciplinary environment.

Experience

Confirmed experience in innovative manufacturing and measurement processes, particularly in cleanroom environments, and project management in an industrial context.

Education

Engineering degree in physics or microtechnology from a recognized institution (HES/EPF) or equivalent qualification; specialization or doctorate is an advantage.
